Halloween Cany Recall: Mega Pops and Raisinets

Mega Pop brand lollipops and Raisinets are being recalled.  The Nestle Raisinets Fun Size 10 ounce bags are being recalled due to "undeclared peanuts".  The Mega Pop brand lollipops may contain "traces of foreign particles" which may be tiny amounts of stainless steel.  A detailed article can be viewed HERE.

Make Your Own Dishwashing Detergent

Have you ever considered making your own dishwashing detergent?  I have finally come across a recipe that is easy to make and costs pennies on the dollar. 

1 cup Borax
1 cup Baking Soda
1/2 cup Kosher Salt

Mix all three items together and store in a container with a secure lid.  Use enough to fill the detergent container in your dishwasher.
